Dear children! Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi (RA) was a great personality, and his sayings serve as a guiding light for us. He was asked five questions, and the answers he provided are thought-provoking. Let’s review them together:

The questioner asked: What is poison? 

Maulana Rumi answered: ​

​Anything that exceeds our needs becomes "poison," whether it is power, wealth, ego, hunger, greed, laziness, ambition, hatred, or anything else.

The questioner asked: What is fear?

Maulana Rumi answered: ​

Fear is the inability to accept an unexpected situation. If we learn to embrace the unexpected, it transforms into an adventure.

The questioner asked: What is envy?  

Maulana Rumi answered: ​

Envy is the inability to acknowledge the goodness in others. If we recognize and accept others' goodness, it becomes admiration and inspiration, which motivates us to progress.

The questioner asked: What is anger?  

Maulana Rumi answered: ​

Anger is the refusal to accept something that is beyond our control. If a person learns to control it, anger is replaced by forgiveness, tolerance, and patience.

The questioner asked: What is hatred?  

Maulana Rumi answered: ​

Hatred is the inability to accept someone as they are. If we accept them unconditionally, it transforms into love.
