My Journey with Power Apps

Automation has taken huge strides in recent times, making complex processes simpler and more accessible. Yet, many—including myself—are often unaware of the incredible tools available in the market.

I had heard of Power Apps before but always assumed creating them required deep technical expertise and heavy coding—reminiscent of the days in university when we worked with C, Visual Basic, or even assembly language. Naturally, I was hesitant to dive in.

However, when a need arose, I decided to push myself to explore Power Apps—and I was blown away by how straightforward it was to use! The process turned out to be far less daunting than I imagined, proving just how user-friendly modern automation tools have become.

The purpose of this post is twofold:

1. To share a couple of resources that I found incredibly helpful in my learning journey.
2. To create a reference point for myself, so I can revisit and refresh my knowledge in the future.
